Meditation as a core pillar of support in our life's journey can accelerate self-discovery, prompt spiritual awakening, and expand love and compassion for ourselves and others. It can spark the transition from the sense of being trapped in the mundane and often painful experience of living in the darkness of the past and fear of the future, through to awareness and experience of the present and the light that shines bright from within us all.

The Story
I set this group up to create a small, safe community in which members can explore various meditation practices to help them along their personal journey.
My own journey has taken me through many challenges and my meditation practice has helped me to survive and transmute an array of seemingly negative experiences including bereavement, divorce, 2 life threatening cardiac events, depression, CPTSD and recovery from active addiction. At the time of writing I am 24 years sober and my life is still being transformed daily by my practices. I trained as a meditation teacher/facilitator with the British School of Meditation, passing with distinction in 2022. My training expanded my then existing practice to encompass a wide range of meditation styles and techniques, including breath work, mantras, guided meditations, embodied awareness, visualisations and chanting. I am now convinced that no matter how far down any scale of emotional, spiritual and practical circumstances I may see or find myself, meditation in all it's forms is one of the greatest tools at my disposal to bring me out of the darkness and into the light.
